Calibri Catamarans are Designed & Built by Katatec Marine Composites Ltd. We are a Multihull Building Company specialising in the construction of high quality GRP Composite Sailing Catamarans.

Situated in the beautiful Gulf of Southern Thailand the Company's team consists of two European Marine Engineers with a German Qualified Composite Technologist directing our highly skilled composite forming unit. All of our senior staff have long experience in the construction of modern Yachts and Multihulls.

Our modern purpose designed Build Facility is temperature & humidity controlled and monitored to International Standards. We are assisted by a workforce of skilled & experienced Laminators and Carpenters with a notably high level of hand skills and pride in their craftsmanship.

Our Thailand Construction Base offers us considerable benefits in the availability of a skilled workforce, low cost importation and lower overheads while providing long term stability in a now modern and rapidly developing Country with an excellent and developing infrastructure. The pleasant and temperate climate of Southern Thailand being ideally suited to marine construction and all year round sailing.

From nearby Thai Ports we are able to Commercially Ship finished Catamarans Worldwide at reasonable cost with final commissioning taking place at our clients home port. Alternatively for closer countries we can arrange delivery by Sail. We also encourage potential owners to visit and sail in our beautiful surroundings while some may well wish to begin their new Sailing Adventure here, and 'Sail Home' !

All Company – Client Build Contracts and Price are inclusive of both full Build Completion and Delivery Insurance.

The New Calibri Catamaran Models will be available for purchase from January 2024 onward. As our build capacity is presently limited to 6 Calibri Catamarans per year we recommend that interested potential buyers make early enquiries without obligation and to ensure a build time slot to suit their own schedule if required.

Our production in Thailand allows us an excellent Quality to Price Ratio with reduced overheads, an advantage which we are pleased to be able to pass onto to our buyers.

Our terms of business are based on a standard approved UK Yacht Association Build Contract. This allows for a deposit and three stage payments during construction with final payment at Yacht completion and commissioning. Each contract includes a full purchaser’s Build Completion and Delivery Insurance.

We are able to ship finished catamarans to worldwide destinations at reasonable cost and will provide broker representation - commissioning & full Company back up at a multitude of Home Ports in the USA. Caribbean. Europe. & Asia.
